FAQ
WILL I KNOW WHAT THE FINAL ILLUSTRATION WILL LOOK LIKE BEFORE YOU FINISH?
I start every project with rough sketches, after which I send to you for approval. If you like the direction the designs are going, I proceed forward from there. I'll ask you to provide me with references, of course, including a description of your character or desired art so I know what your needs are. This also makes sure that the art you request is in a style you want. We will correspond throughout the developmental process, so I will use that time to let you know if there's a certain style I can't execute.
WHAT STYLE(S) OF ILLUSTRATION DO YOU DO?
If you'd like to know specifically what kind of art I do, you can reference my previous work and learn what you can expect from me. I will always let you know well enough in advance whether or not I can achieve a certain style.
ARE YOUR ILLUSTRATIONS DRAWN BY HAND OR COMPUTER?
My artworks are computer-aided designs or CAD, but I can do traditional inking when needed. Most of my work, though is digital. My main trade tool is Adobe Photoshop, but I utilize other programs as well when a design requires it. Those programs include Adobe Illustrator, Clip Studio, Affinity Designer, Corel Painter, Medibang, & Adobe Premier Pro.
WHAT ABOUT WORK-FOR-HIRE?
I retain the rights of all the creations I make unless the project itself involves your own personalized image (i.e., intellectual property, character; brand you own, etc.), or you purchase a use from me. However, if you'd like to work together on a project related to your vision, then, of course, you'd already claim ownership of your characters and story. I'm more than happy to collaborate solely as a designer.
